Creation of Mug and Speciality Coffee
Come and discover the wonder of making ceramics and enjoy speciality filter coffee by designing your favourite mug.
This session is ideal to live a quality, charming and creative moment just for you or in the company of people you love.
Beginners and experts are welcome, here we all have fun and create!

We do this session at least once a week on Saturdays from 12:00 to 13:30.

¡Primavera en casa!
Ya es primavera y si eres como yo, estarás rebosante de energía con ganas de disfrutar de la vida, los colores y la belleza naciente de esta época del año.
Por eso he pensado que hacer jarrones para llevar la dulzura de las flores a nuestros hogares o para regalar a alguien especial puede ser una actividad nutritiva para el alma.

La idea es compartir cositas deliciosas de nuestra cafetería, escuchar música, conversar entre amigas (o amigas to be) y hacer un par de jarrones altos idealmente, para pasarlo riquísimo.

El taller durará 5,5 horas, dispondrás de 3 kg de arcilla y lo haremos en tres partes:

Tomarnos el tiempo de modelar nuestros 2 jarrones (o uno, si el primero y único es muy ambicioso). Esto nos llevará unas 3 horas de trabajo el 11 de mayo.

Luego, durante los siguientes 15 días, has de volver en alguna de nuestras sesiones de cerámica para refinar la forma de tu(s) jarrón(es). Esto te llevará aproximadamente de 1 a 2 horas, dependiendo de la complejidad del jarrón que hayas elegido construir en la primera sesión.

Pasados los primeros 15 días de haber construido y refinado tu(s) jarrones. Podrás venir en cualquiera de nuestras sesiones de cerámica semanales regulares a esmaltarlo(s).
Astrological evenings: Intuitive Ceramics
For me astrology has been a surprise since I grew up with the biased and incomplete idea of POP astrology in which I was a Virgo, my mother a Capricorn and my partner an Aquarius, as if we could put 7.8 billion souls into a mere 12 pots and define them forever with a generic label.
From that vision to today has been a few solar revolutions, a lot of reading and research and a major square in 2021 that changed my understanding of the subject forever.
These evenings will be the space to talk, review our astrological charts, and, rather than predict a future as creative as life itself, discover how those remote symbols and connective lines manifest in our unique life experience.
We do this from time to time.​

Basic principles of filtered coffee workshop
Our beloved roasters, the Animal Coffee Roasters, will come to explain and demonstrate the basics of filtered coffee through the delicious V60, Aeropress and Batch brew extraction methods.

Sensory exploration: yoga + sea + ceramics + brunch
This is an activity I've been wanting to do for a long time. It's about spending a morning nourishing the creative body: first we do yoga/dance stretches on the beach, then after being relaxed and receptive, with our senses wide awake, we'll play with clay in cream freely and in the water! Finally we will come to Materia for a deli deli brunch while we make a piece that we are immensely happy to make. Then you can come and glaze and colour it to your heart's content.

The workshop is 4 hours continuous and an additional hour when you come to paint and glaze your pieces.

It all takes time...
It is important to bear in mind that once the workshop has been completed, the modelled pieces will have to dry, then go through the oven to be bisque-fired. They will then be glazed and put back in the kiln.
The process will take approximately 8 weeks.
